Veritex Media (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a digital marketing and content studio based in Tamil Nadu, India. We operate the website veritexmedia.com.

2. What information we collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • The details you provide about what you are working on

If you contact us by email or WhatsApp instead, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message, along with your email address or phone number.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting provider and analytics tools automatically record technical information, including:

  • Your IP address
  • Browser type and version, and device type
  • Pages you visit, and how long you spend on them
  • The page or search that referred you to our site
  • Approximate location, derived from your IP address

Cookies and similar technologies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies that help us see which pages are read, how people arrive at the site, and where they leave. This data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Our site also uses caching technology which may set functional cookies required for the site to load correctly.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.

We do not currently run advertising or remarketing pixels on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy before those tools go live.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the site and our business:

  • Hostinger — our web hosting provider, which stores the website and its database, including contact form entries
  • Google (Google Analytics) — website analytics
  • Our email provider — contact form notifications are emailed to us

Each of these processes data on our instructions. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

5. International transfers

We are based in India. Our service providers may store or process data in other countries, including within the European Economic Area and the United States.

Where personal data of individuals in the EEA or UK is transferred outside those regions, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

  • Contact form entries are stored in our website database and in our email inbox. We keep enquiries that do not lead to work for up to 24 months, then delete them.
  • Client records are kept for as long as we work together, and for up to 7 years afterwards, to meet accounting and tax requirements.
  • Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ own retention settings.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal information. These include the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Delete your personal data, where we have no ongoing need to keep it
  • Object to or restrict how we use it
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to access, correct and erase your data, and to nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption across the site and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other sites

Our site links to external services including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services, and we recommend reading their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. If the changes are significant — for example, if we introduce advertising pixels or a new tool that handles your data — we will make that clear on this page.
